Hi Everyone,

It is with great excitement that the Plenty Cricket Club introduces its newest, and first all female team… The POWER GIRLS!!!

The POWER GIRLS play in the DVCA Renegades Girls Cricket League on Wednesdays (5pm). The competition includes 9 rounds plus finals.

Congratulations to the girls who played their first match last night against the Research Mini Rubies which ended in a thrilling tie off the last ball of the match. Both teams scored 96 runs off 20 overs.

Thank you to all the parents and Jimmy Norman for assistance with training, scoring, and match days etc…

Also, thank you to the families who provided playing tops for the girls to wear for their first match.

The POWER GIRLS will play a number of home games at Plenty Park, and everyone is invited to come down and cheer on the girls throughout the season.
